Anxiety

Anxiety goes deeper than standard daily stress; it frequently manifests as an exhausting, non-stop need for absolute control. You might find yourself trapped in loops of chronic overthinking, hyper-vigilance, and rigid mental rules just to prevent uncomfortable feelings from breaking through. Together, we will work to lower your internal tension, challenge those automatic thinking blocks, and build genuine daily ease.

If anxiety is affecting your daily life, you can learn more on my  Anxiety Therapy page

If you find yourself stuck in go-mode and unable to truly rest, you might relate to my post on Why It’s So Hard to Slow Down (Even When You Want To).

Self‑Esteem & Approval

Low self-esteem quietly feeds a relentless cycle of people-pleasing, hiding your true thoughts, and chasing external approval to validate your worth. You may find yourself prioritizing everyone else’s needs above your own, hiding behind a strong mask while quietly running on empty inside. Real self-worth comes from the inside out, not perfect performance. We will collaborate to set secure boundaries and rebuild a compassionate inner voice.

Depression

When emotional heaviness or depression takes over, even simple, everyday tasks can begin to feel completely impossible. It is exhausting to wear a strong mask for the outside world while quietly carrying a deep sense of flatness, low motivation, and self-doubt on the inside. Depression often forces you into a state of emotional disconnection, causing you to pull away from your life and your relationships just to cope with the weight. We will work collaboratively to explore the situational and cognitive factors keeping you stuck in this cycle, helping you safely rebuild a balanced, motivated, and deeply authentic daily routine at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Stress

Managing chronic stress is less about handling a busy calendar and more about how your nervous system responds when you feel constantly overloaded. When you are used to operating in a non-stop “go-mode” state, your mind and body treat everyday pressures as an ongoing emergency, leaving you feeling completely flooded and running on empty. This constant pressure can cause your body to tense, your mind to race, and your emotions to shut down just to keep ahead of the discomfort. Together, we will work to identify the cognitive and situational factors keeping you overwhelmed, allowing you to safely lower your guard, step out of survival mode, and build lasting daily ease.

Trauma & Past Wounds

When we experience past hurt, systemic minority stress, or trauma, our survival instinct goes on high alert. It is common to pour all your energy into emotional avoidance, pushing down heavy memories and staying on guard to prevent being hurt again. But hiding your feelings comes at a high cost, building invisible walls that lock you in loops of fear. I provide a secure, culturally responsive space to help you safely unburden the past at a pace that feels completely safe.

Relationships & Interpersonal Dynamics

The protective armor we build to avoid being hurt or rejected always impacts how we connect with others. I help adults make sense of repeating communication loops, navigate difficult boundaries, and explore how past wounds might be unconsciously driving current relationship choices. This work gives you the tools to create secure, honest, and balanced connections where you can safely be your true self.
