This page explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the terms for using the site. It applies to the website only. Information shared with me as a client is protected separately under HIPAA and state law and is covered in the Notice of Privacy Practices provided at the start of care. Visiting this website does not create a therapist-client relationship.
What this website does not do
- No third-party analytics such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
- No advertising, remarketing, or social media pixels
- No session-recording or heat-mapping tools
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your personal information for marketing
- Information collected automatically
Visitor counts. The site keeps a simple count of page views using a tool that runs on the same server that hosts the website. It does not send data to outside companies, build a profile of you, or follow you to other websites. It may set a small cookie to avoid counting one visit twice. That cookie contains no personal information.
Security. A security tool on the web server blocks spam, bots, and attacks. It may temporarily log visitor IP addresses and browser types for that purpose only.
Spam protection on forms. Contact forms on this site use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people apart from automated spam. reCAPTCHA sends Google technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google’s handling of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Icons. Icons are loaded from Font Awesome’s servers, which receive standard technical information such as your IP address when the icon files are requested.
Information you choose to share
If you submit a contact form, the details you enter are sent to me by email so I can respond. I do not add you to a marketing list. Email is not a fully secure channel, so please keep your first message general and save personal or health details for a phone call or our first session. Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Links to other websites
This site links to outside services such as online scheduling, directory profiles, and resources. Nothing from those services loads into this website. They receive information only after you click through, and their own privacy policies apply from that point. Linking does not mean I endorse or am responsible for those websites.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie it may set is the visitor-count cookie described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use this site.
Children
This website is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted information here, please contact me and I will delete it.
Website hosting
This website is built and hosted by TribeSites, a service of WebTribes, Inc. The visitor-count and security tools described above run on TribeSites servers. TribeSites does not place analytics, advertising, or tracking tags from outside companies on this site.
